Confluence and web proxy to reach internet and atlassian marketplace

Question

We use a web proxy to connect to the internet (outgoing).

Read all docs but can't get confluence (latest version) to reach atlassian marketplace. Got Jira to work in that way with the same proxy settings.

For confluence I added the config in both conf/catalina.properties and in bin/setenv.sh (is the later used really? No ref in start-jira.sh)

No success, please help!

Got it working now something about port not a number in the log, retyped the port and it work, maybe some trash character somewhere. Thanks

What you can see on your <confluence-home>\logs\atlassian-confluence.log ?

Do you have following error on your managed add-ons page?

The Atlassian Marketplace server is not reachable. To avoid problems when loading this page, you can disable the connection to the Marketplace server
