Customize the custom field description

Hi Team,

We have a requirement on customizing the description of the custom fields.

1.  We need to add Help Text to custom field like the way it is available for "Issue Type" system field in create issue screen (a bubble kind of image).

2. Is there a way I can add more spacing between the fields in the EDit and Create Screens?

3. Is there a way I can add the help text above the Custom field in the Create/Edit Screen?

4. Is there a way I can add the help text at the center of the page in the Create/Edit screen?

You could use a combination of CSS + JavaScript to achieve the above placement of text on various areas of Jira. Also, look at ScriptRunner + Fragments.

Jira also has Field Config which allows you to modify the description of a custom field that appears below the field on a Create/Edit screen.
