Link to Jira issue from GitHub commit message

I successfully set up a link between Jira and GitHub. I can see commits concerning a specific Jira issue within this Jira issue. Smart commits work. Now I would like to be able to click on the issue's key as part of the commit message in GitHub and open the issue in Jira. Is that possible?
