Is there a way to retrieve the Issue Linked date using the JIRA API?

We're using the search API call to retrieve a specific set of issues and, within the API call, we're requesting the issuelinks field to get back all of the issues that are linked to the set of issues being returned. We're successfully getting the linked issue data but my question is, is there a way to get the "date" the issue was linked?

I tried making an issueLink API call for a specific link id but I'm not seeing a date returned in that response either. Is there some way to extract the date?

What you want to look through is the issue's change log:

The change log stores all tracked changes to an issue, including when it was linked to another issue.

You'll need to add "expand=changelog" to your params for the issue request to see it.
