Hello!

I have the File list in Confluence, and I would like to make changes in one document and others group user would like to make changes in this document, too, can we correct one document at the same time? And how we will see all changes?

Is it possible to publish Libre Office documents in Confluece such as Microsoft Office documents?

Regards,

Ella

Regarding support for LibreOffice, I think the answer is "yes" provided you save the LibreOffice document in MS Word format. If you upload a document in the native .odt format however then it will NOT be indexed by the Confluence search engine.

I would love for this to be improved. Please vote on the feature request for this here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-17391

Hi Ella,

Confluence can work with Concurrent Editing. At the time you save, Confluence will check if there are any conflicts. If there are, you will have the option to Overwrite, Merge manually or Discard them.
More info about this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Concurrent+Editing+and+Merging+Changes

About Libre Office Documents, you are able to Import, show contents or even edit the document from a Confluent page. Please visit the following link for all the information regarding this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Working+with+the+Office+Connector

Hi Mauro, Is there a way for Confluence to control the document version when more than one person tries to edit the document through the Edit in Office link at the same time (rather than editing the actual page)? I haven't been able to find anything regarding this. Thanks!
