I've downloaded the JIRA trial, I have a profile and am unable to view ANY tools for creating a project. My only log in options seem to be to create user accounts. Nothing from "My profile" is recognized as log in credentials as an administrator.
Are you using the same username/password you used while setting up JIRA? Are you not seeing the Administration menu near the user profile on top right of navigation bar?
Yeah, same credentials but no Administration bar. Nor is there anything on the Profile page suggesting users or admin rights.
