How many characters in the text renderer and wiki renderer?
Can the number of characters be changed?
I'm not sure what you mean by "characters in a renderer"? Do you mean the characters in the long-text fields? Which are effectively unliimited?
I have a custom field set to text renderer. I can only type in 255 characters in to the resulting field. Possibly the renderer isn't what sets the number of characters I can type there. However I want to be able to type in more characters. Is there a way to change that?
Sounds like you've created a "short text" field. You can't extend those. You need to swap to using "free text" fields instead, they're unlimited.
How do I swap this out?
