Confluence compatibility with JIRA

Question

We have JIRA 6.3.11 version running in our organization. Now we would like to install Confluence.

Do we have a version compatibility issues with JIRA and Confluence.

Or can someone suggest which version of confluence is compatible with JIRA 6.3.11

Regards,

Santosh.

Vera Henrichs · Answer

Indeed, when you just make sure you have the latest or later versions, there won't be a compatibility-problem.

Same here.

You'll generally find anything from Confluence 4.0 to 5.9 will work ok with Jira 6.x, but as Jobin says, I'd go with the latest because the integration offers the most options, and it's the best version yet.

Hi Santosh,

Just make sure, as well, that you check the supported platforms for both products:

* Confluence
* JIRA
