Set Issue level Security in Jira - Assignee WAS User sometime ago

Hi,

is it possible to set a Issue-level security that works if a user WAS the assignee sometime?

E.g. User Author created an issue and assigned it to user Assignee1.  Now I have an issue level security established so that only the author and the current assignee can see this issue. If Assignee1 now sets the assignee to Assignee2, then Assignee2 can see this issue but Assignee1 not, since he is not the assigned person anymore. But he was in the loop so he should be able to still see this. You can continue this example with an Assignee3, Assignee4,..

Is it possible to configure issue level security this way? Issues have several assignees during its lifetime and only the persons who are/where assigned should be able to see this issue

You can base security levels on a user list custom field, although that's not immediately obvious from the security levels UI.

So you could have a custom field representing users allowed to view the issue, and a listener that adds the new assignee on assignee change.
