Does stash provides an option to squash commits while merging a pull request and  not forcing --no-ff flag during a pull request merge?

STASH-2810 relates to STASH-2857 , which is indicated as fixed in version 2.1.0 . But i was not able to locate the same on 2.1.0 release notes . Also , are these merge configuration changes documented somewhere ?
