defect detection

Hi,

I would like to calculate some KPI's. This should be based on amount of issues, e.g.

Defect Detection Percentage (DDP): issues found prior to release and after release by customer

To be able to do this, two filters will be created:

1. Issues found prior to release
2. Issues fould after release by customers 

Calculation: #Issues found prior to release / (#Issues found prior to release + #Issues found by customers)

 

My problem:  Can JIRA or some gadget do the calculation and present the result?

An easier solution canbe to have - My favirotie filters gadgets on your dashboard, which gives you the number of issues in the filter. Once you get both the number, you canrely on excel to do the calculation for you.
