Can you restrict viewing/editing to a set of pages within a given space?

Suppose I have a space FOO. In FOO, there are several pages:

FOO

- Page A

-- Page A1

-- Page A2

--- Page A2.1

--- Page A2.2

- Page B

-- Page B1

-- Page B2

--- Page B2.1

--- Page B2.2

Additionally, suppose that I have two groups. Users is the default group and has permission to view/edit all pages in the space by default. External is another group setup to handle a select set of contractors who should ONLY see Page B2 and its children (no other pages should be visible or editable).

Is there a way to set up the permissions within Confluence to cause this sort of behavior? I don't know that it is is possible without changing the hierarchy.

I assume B2 is a child page of B yes? If so, then no I'm afraid there is no way to do this. In order to see B2 and it's Children the contractors gorup will need to have view permissions of page B. Also, you can restrict viewing of page A to the non contractor group which will keep them from seeing A and all it's children.
