When I create issues in JIRA, I'm putting in an external tracking ID into the description (we have another system that external users use to submit bugs... when those get prioritized we move them to JIRA).
For example, the title of my JIRA issue would be:
ER-12013699 - Timecard Comments field added to invoice extract
However, when I try to search for ER-12013699, I get "Issue Does Not Exist" (see here http://i.imgur.com/ySMNv.png )
I've also tried searching the following:
- ER-12013699
- 12013699
- 3699
How can I get the search box to return my JIRA issue?
(I ask because we use the "ER" number ALL the time in my organization. It is the one thing that ties all of our stuff together.)
