moving our stash, jira and confluence databases

We are moving our stash, jira and confluence databases from their initial test db's to our production db farm. Are there any links between the databaes that could get corrupted if we do not move them all at the same time? If I bring down jira to move the database while the users are still updating their code in stash and/or updating issues in confluence, both being integrated, could the db(s) become corrupted or out of sync?

Hey Scott,

There's no problem moving then separately, since the application are connected thorough application links, the only behaviour you will see would during the separated database migration would be some macros not rendering properly, like JIRA macro Issue or linking issues to your code in Stash since one of the applications will be down during the process.

My recommendation is that you always backup your databases and application directories prior the move, so if anything went wrong you can quickly restore your instances.
