Using CLI to upgrade Confluence?

We are currently running v3.3 of Confluence and are looking to upgrade to the latest. During this upgrade, we are also moving to a new server and database, so it's basically a new installation (as opposed to an in-place upgrade).

Does anyone have experience using the awesome CLI tools that Bob Swift created to move from one version to another?

Hi Thomas,

Personally I didn't have the chance of using the CLI plugin for this process. However, as Bob suggested, you can try doing one thing at the time. So you can firstly move Confluence to another server as described in https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF33/Migrating+Confluence+Between+Servers and then proceed with the upgrade (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF42/Upgrading+Confluence).
