unable to install jira 5.0.4

I'm trying to install jira, but everything I launch the installer I get an error:

internal error occured - error code 34

the log file shows:

I tried downloading the installer 5 times, on different computers but I get the same error with all

Hi there,

I think you need to configure the device manually as per Microsoft KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310123

On a side note, have you tried downloading the archived JIRA?
