Table scroll bars in IE but not Chrome on 5.7

Question

I am having an issue where (new behavior) scroll bars appear both horizontally AND vertically on tables in IE. The same page in Chrome does NOT exhibit this behavior (preferred and the way it was). Any ideas anyone?
