JIRA dropdown different values for role / user / group ?

Hi, 

is it possible (probably with a plugin) to make a dropdown field in JIRA that shows different options for different users (or groups/roles)?

E.g.

User/Group/Role A should only see the values 1,2,3

User/Group/Role B should only see the values 1,2,4

Hi David,

You can use a scripted field and insert a custom Groovy to dynamically populate the field after checking the user/group/role
