Is the comment postfunction triggering the issue commented event? Because it does not in our Jira. Is there a way to fire a proper issue commented event with this postfunction (I tried to fire issue commented event on the transition, but the message is empty)?

Right now, this is not possible. But you can create an Improvement Request on our JIRA and I will try to implement it in the next release.
