We have been evaluating ways to create a parallel ticket automatically and link it to the original issue. So far we have evaluated plugins like Create on Transition ... etc ...
Does anyone have a similar workflow and what is the best way to do this.

Create on Transition have been widely used and is probably the easiest option.Other options are the scripting solutions - JJupin or ScriptRunner.
