Confluence Programming

Pangianto Pang

Hi All,

I wanted to do a page with a contact number search function to the database by name or person id.

i am wondering how to achieve this in Confluence?

I am thinking; can i code using jsp and put in together with the Confluence tomcat and include the jsp page on the confluece page?

Please kindly advise and thanks in advanced.

I think, you can use this plugin to achieve that:

https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/display/RUN/Confluence+Run+Plugin which works along side https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/display/SQL/Confluence+SQL+Plugin

You can put an SQL query into the macro

Hi Amalia, thx for your reply.

I have installed the plugin and wanted to try it out. However, i cannot find it in the macro browser.

I do not know why, i am using confluence 4.2.8.

I am quite new to the confluence, can help me out please.

Thanks.

Amalia

you have to use a wiki markup to do that (Editor > Insert > Wiki Markup) and try to insert the codes like the examples: https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/display/SQL/Confluence+SQL+Plugin

Im an user of confluence 3.5 and it is upgraded to 4.2.8, on 3.5 those plugin can be browse by macro browser. So on 4.2.8 installed plugins cannot be browsed anymore?

Anyway thanks Amalia, at least i know the plugin is working.
