rename confleunce space key

Question

Hi  there,

How can I rename the space key.

Thanks

Rodney Hughes · Answer

Yes - it is fraught with all sorts of problems as that means all the space and page URLs and associated attachment links all get broken.

So what I would suggest is to just create a new correct Space

Then use the Copy Page Tree plugin to copy all the pages (with attachments) from the old Space to the new Space.

You can't. See this article for a workaround https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-copy-or-rename-a-space-in-confluence-169578.html
