Is there any way to import diagram files created in Gnome Dia into Confluence?

as workaround:

* upload the dia file
* in "dia" export as " scalable vector graphic" svg (multiple options available. use the scalable one)
* upload that svg file with !<pathToFile> in the confluence editor

after changes are made in "dia" :

* save the file and export the svg
* klick on the dia file in the confluence page (outside of the editor!!) and klick the "upload new version"
* klick on the svg-image in the confluence page (outside of the editor!!) and klick the "upload new version"

I'm not aware of any way to import these; the closest thing I know of is the Gliffy Plugin.

As far as options, in order of preference I'd try this:

* See if Dia can interact with Gliffy
* Save the diagram as a .jpg and embed as normal
* Talk to Gnome or an Atlassian Expert about the possibility of a custom plugin
