Why doesn't my blog have comments at the bottom?

unknown

Just published my first blog and there is no comments field at the bottom. How do I fix this? Also, it has been given a random location in the page hierarcy 0018>November>blog title

It's the first blog in our confluence instance and it's December. What have I done wrong?

Did you check the decorators to make sure that comments functionality was removed? Go to the blog's admin space (the URL will look something like http://yoursite.com/spaces/listdecorators.action?key=blog_name).

Next to Comments Layout, click "Edit" to see if the logic is in there to render the comments box.

You can add a comment on pages and blog posts in Confluence. To add a comment, you need the 'Add Comments' permission

check this doc for more information
