This has been happening since we upgraded Team Calendar to version 4.0.3 .
After upgrade, when we added an event, it disappeared on the next day. Our Confluence version is 5.2.3 .

We haven't had any other reports of this happening. You should raise a ticket at https://support.atlassian.com and our support team will be able to help you find the problem.
