configurer smtp

Question

Hi,

I'm having trouble with the smtp configuration in JIRA.

The error message is " SocketException : Permission denied: connect" .

I tried many parameters and still have this problem.

Could you please tell me more about this error?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Could you please be more explicit about your potential solution ?

Where exaclty do we have to add this Java parameter line, userenv, setenv.bat in JIRA ?..

It is actually turning under W2k8R2 SP1 64bits along with :

Apache 2.2.22
MySQL 5.5.27
Java 7 Upd 55 (64 bits)
JIRA 6.3.1 service launched as Local System

Thanks for your help.

Let me guess... Java 7 ?  Try adding -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true to the environment and restarting.
