When logging into FishEye / Crucible from JIRA, a new user id is created if it has not been created in FE/C. This causes a problem when users log in using different cases of their user ids.

Question

Subsequently, a user may have reviews under ABC123 and abc123.

How can this be handled or avoided?

This would mean I would still need to add both upper and lower case user ids for a single user - correct?  
This will not only cause discrepancies in reviews, but also quickly utilize the licensed users (double dip).

Hi Janene,

If you have JIRA/Crowd Authentication settings in this FeCru instance, there is a setting call "Auto-add" which allow user FishEye to create user automatically when a user has successful login via Security Settings > Authentication > . You might want to opt for "Users must be added to FishEye manually" instead.
