adding mockup shows error in confluence

Hi,

We tested the balsamiq plugin 2.2.6 in our confluence 4.3.7 environment.When we add the mockup on the edit page and save, it shows an error as below

java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to move attachment (Attachment: mockup_again437.png v.1 (69402640) re00266) from [D:\confluence\data-atlassian-confluence-4.3.7\attachments\ver003
onspaced\145\173\69173395\69402640] to [D:\confluence\data-atlassian-confluence-4.3.7\attachments\ver003\192\215\59965442\146\173\69173396\69402640] - check folder permissions.
 at com.atlassian.confluence.pages.persistence.dao.FileSystemAttachmentDataDao.moveAttachment(FileSystemAttachmentDataDao.java:384)
 at com.atlassian.confluence.pages.persistence.dao.hibernate.AbstractHibernateAttachmentDao.moveAttachment(AbstractHibernateAttachmentDao.java:235)

Has anyone encountered such a problem with the new version of mockup plugin?Also testing revealed that this issue started with balsamiq mockup plugin 2.2.5.Please let me know if anzone did find a worksaround for this?

Hi John,

I have encountered the issue you have mentioned above.But in this case it seems entirely different as it says that it is unable to move the attachment from blah blah to some other location.I checked the permissions as well to ascertain if it has to something with that .however there wasnt any problem there as well.So this is something that went wrong since version 2.2.5 onwards.

From the look of the error you are experiencing something similar to the issue described in this document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=307038241

So, to test this theory can you try creating a directory as described in that document and see whether that works for you or not. Also, it could just be that the Confluence user doesn't have sufficeint permisisons to write to the Home Directory as this would also cause the same error.
