We have the Script Runner plugin installed and it has issueFunction which performs a lot better than 'issue in'. Is there a way to disable 'issue in' to force users to only use issueFunction?
I don't think it is possible to limit the JQL functionality other than having a custom plugin created.
issueFunction is not a drop in replacement for "issue in" ... but some functions may be available in script runner. Which particular one(s) did you have in mind? If it's provided by another plugin you could just disable the plugin module that provides it.
