This error may be caused by a number of different things. I would recommend to:

Update ALL add-ons in Confluence Admin > Manage Add-ons
Remove ALL incompatible add-ons
Clear plugin cache
Enable safe mode to see if any third-party plugins are interferring
Try to see using Firebug or Developer Tool (F12 in your browser) to see the HTTP request error
