Mentions autocomplete doesn't work for languages other then English

I have a specific situation in using Mentions autocomplete feature. When I type @ when using my native Bosnian (Latin, Bosnia and Herzegovina) keyboard, nothing happens (except having @, obviously); but when I switch to English (United States) keyboard autocomplete of mentions works as a charm.
