Loading the existing document to edit takes 20 secs

I recently updated my confluence to 5.1.3 from 4.3, then this bug appeared.

When someone try to edit an existing document, it takes about 20 seconds to load the existing contents(until then, the textarea shows just blank), and it includes a refresh.

How can I resolve this problem?

The solution of step 2 in the answer of this question solved the issue. (I'm not sure if they are actually related, but the problem solved.)

Can you confirm if this occurs when trying to "Edit Document" embedded in Confluence page via Office Connector?

Well it doesn't seem to load anything via Office Connector even when I clicked "Edit Document". But I don't need the office connector feature so it's fine.

Does this loading issue occurred when trying to "Edit in Office" then? Does it affect an edit of a newly uploaded document or any other Office Documents?

Hmm I think there was some misunderstanding. The problem isn't related to Office document. Every "PAGE" in the wiki has the same problem when clicking "edit", and the problem occurs whether or not the page has an office document in it.

Ah I see. Since you were mentioning "When someone try to edit an existing document", I figured it was related to an Office Documents instead of Confluence pages due to the word "document". But good to hear my other suggestions fixed the issue. So it was indeed due to plugin timeout.
