Question about Custom Field creation

I am trying to create a custom field that is similar to the Linked Issue field. In fact, I want it to be just like the Linked Issue field. We will have different Issue Types that I want to be able to link separately. So I would like to have two different Linked Issue fields on my create issue form, different labels of course.

Looks like you would like to link one issue to another based on issue types? I don't think that is possible at the moment. You would likely need a customized custom field to do this.
