SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out

Unfortunately no connection was possible. Review the errors below and rectify:

• SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out

We are getting above error, form lasts few days. Earlier SMTP (Email sending) is working perfectly fine with the same setting.

we have checked the email configuring in email client & its working fine.

please find attached error log captured while sending test mail.

 

Kindly guide us to resolve the issue asap.

It seems that your JIRA server is not able to reach the SMTP server in the timeout period. You can try the resolution steps listed here and if the problem persists, we recommend you to reach the Atlassian Support Portal and provide the team your application log files.
