Transition validator. Validate status of linked Crucible review

Question

I want to validate that the review created for the JIRA-issue is closed before it's possible to close the JIRA-issue.

Is it possible to create a transition validator in JIRA that validates the status of the linked crucible review? if not, is there any other way to accomplish this?

I have. My workflow looks like this:

To Do -> In Progress -> In Review -> Closed

I just want to ensure that the Crucible review linked (if there is a Crucible linked review) to the JIRA-issue is actually closed, before it possible to move the JIRA-issue from "In Review" to "Closed"

Why do not you make it part of the workflow: Current Status -> Reviewed -> Closed
