JIRA- Field reporting

Julio Valdez

Hi,

We have a request to view the existing fields for a given project, and for fields with limited choice of values, the possible values for each.

Is there a way to report/view this?

Hi Julio,

You can run a JQL Query / filter by selecting only few columns to appear
you can run a SQL Query if you have access to database. Are you interested in something like that.

Yes, please continue. :-)

Please find the attached screenshot which will display the issues of a project with few custom field values for a custom field.

Make sure you choose desired columns by switching to List view
Later when you get the issue results, export to CSV for reporting.

Hope this helps

This helps but I am looking for some way to see all of the fields that a user can enter and for fields that have restricted possible values, what are the possible values for each of those fields. Don't know if this can be done but it's a request we have.
