Is there a way to hight workflow button in an issue? So it can distinguish with other buttons ?
You can use CSS to highlight every workflow button quite easily. The CSS would be
ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger { background-color: red; background-image: none; } ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions span#opsbar-transitions_more { background-color: red; background-image: none; }
ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger {
}
ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions span#opsbar-transitions_more {
and the question here dicusses how to inject it into the web page

If you want to highlight a specific workflow action, you'd have to start using jquery and testing web page content to find out what project it was, what state it was in and what the workflow actions were.
Note without hacking some code really. There's nothing in the UI, and you'll need to think about how you decide which button to highlight and how to tell your css that it's different from the others
Where file should be modifed for CSS? Thanks
You can enter the CSS by editing the annoucement banner and putting in the code
<style <span>type</span>=<span>"text/css"</span>> </code> <p>ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger {</p> <code> background-color: red; background-image: none; </code> <p>}</p> <code> ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions span#opsbar-transitions_more { </code> <ul> <li>background-color: red;</li> <li>background-image: none;</li> </ul> <code> } </style>
<style
<span>type</span>
=
<span>"text/css"</span>
>
</code> <p>ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger {</p> <code>
</code> <p>}</p> <code>
</code> <ul> <li>background-color: red;</li> <li>background-image: none;</li> </ul> <code>
<
/style
Thanks, it is working now.

Hi Ellen,
If you are interested in paid plugin, take a look at this one: Conditions Validator
We have exactly what you need in 'easy in use' way.
Cheers,
For those of you who want the change the color of the text as well (since black text doesn't show up well on darker colors):
ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger { background-color: #0058A8; background-image: none; color: #FCFCFC;}
background-color: #0058A8; background-image: none; color: #FCFCFC;}
Hi Nic, Your suggestion is what I am looking for, do you have a solution and a sample code to do it? Let's say: I have 2 buttons shown up. I want to highlight only 1 of them first. After that 1st button was clicked then, highlight the 2nd buttons. Is there a way to do so? Thanks.
Hi Damon Pleasant -
Is it possible to highlight each transition button as a different color? With the above script all of the transition buttons are the same colors for me.
I apologize for my lack of coding experience.
Matthew Cobby's answer used to work but after upgrading we noticed that the UL tags were changed to DIVs.
ul#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger was changed to div#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger
Here is our version:
<style>
/* xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Transition Buttons Hack xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx *//* button color */div#opsbar-opsbar-transitions a.toolbar-trigger{background-color: #0578a7;color: white;border-color: #CCCCCC;background-image: none;text-shadow: 0 0 0 #DDDDDD;}/* trigger button color */div#opsbar-opsbar-transitions span#opsbar-transitions_more{background-color: #3366ff;color: white;border-color: #CCCCCC;background-image: none;text-shadow: 0 0 0 #DDDDDD;}/* hover on button */div#opsbar-opsbar-transitions li:hover a.toolbar-trigger{background-color: #0099D5;color: white;border-color: #AAAAAA;background-image: none;}</style>
