Custom Field - Multi select

Hi,

I use Jira 4.4.1 and I need to have 2 custom fields Multi select on 1 issue type. Both have the same entries, one is required and one is optional.

First question : does I need to create 2 differents custom fields ?

Second question: Is there a way to import values instead of typing them one by one (there are 374 entries) ?

1. Possibly.

Do you need the field to be used on the same project/issue type? That would be nonsense for single field, you absolutely have to have two fields, or there's no way to tell the two instances apart. However, if you want the field to have the same lists, same data, be mandatory on "bugs", but optional on "tasks", then yes, you can do this with "field configuration"

2. I've used Jelly scripting in the past to do this. Or the script runner addon if you've got it.
