Only allowed user can assign to others, but a user can assign to itslef any tickets

Hi Folks,

On a givem persmission scheme we have limited the set of users allowed to assign tickets.

This works fine.

But we would like as well certain users to 'take' tickets, and assign to their login only, not to other users.

How to do that ?

Hi,

A bit long solution, but maybe helps:

Create group "A-group" and add user A there.

Try creating workflow transition:

Destination status = Source status

Name of transtition: "Assign to me"

Condition of transition : user is in group "A-group"

Post function of transition : assignee changes to A

Repeat for user B,C,D...
