we have been using BRIE (Backup and Restore Improved Experience) with our major clients for quite some time. While it is very straightforward to use, I believe it could benefit from a few small additions that would make life easier for an org admin.
For instance, there is no way to simply delete policies that are no longer needed; they are merely grayed out and marked as "inactive."
Furthermore, there should be a way to change the creator of a rule. If the person who created a rule leaves the company or no longer has access to the Atlassian stack, it is my understanding that the rule can no longer be modified. An "edit" button would be a great solution here.
Lastly, it would be excellent to have the option to receive a daily summary of all backup jobs via email (including the job name, status, and size). Ever since the backup API became unavailable, this type of information has simply been missing.
What are your thoughts—is it time for a bit of a makeover?
