Hi there, Rovo friends!
We’re back once again for another edition of Rovo Rituals. In this weekly series, you can build practical, low-friction AI habits in less than 5 minutes a day.
So far, we’ve covered The Morning Prioritizer and The 5-Minute Meeting Preflight. If you’ve been following along, your days and your meetings should already be gettinga bit calmer.
For this week’s ritual, we’re looking at something we all face periodically: the super long doc you only have 5 minutes to understand.

đź”® Ritual #3: The Jargon-Buster & Quick Digest
- Theme: Research & Knowledge Discovery
- Level: Beginner / Intermediate
- Time to test this ritual: 2–3 minutes
The why
Long architecture docs, project posters and specs full of acronyms are commonplace at work. Oftentimes you only need the gist: what it says, what could go wrong, and what all those acronyms really mean.
You don’t have to skim, bookmark it for “later,” or quietly google every acronym. Rovo can digest the page for you in seconds. You’ll get a crisp summary, the risks worth knowing about, and plain-language explanations of the jargon.
đź“‹ The prompt to copy & paste
“Read this page: [paste Confluence page link, doc, or spec]. Give me: 1. A 3-bullet executive summary 2. The key risks or unknowns mentioned 3. A simple explanation of any technical terms or acronyms, written like I’m new to the team.”
🛠️ Role-based variations
- Engineering & DevOps: “Read this architecture doc or RFC: [link]. Summarize the proposed design in 3 bullets. List the trade-offs and open technical questions, and flag any dependencies on other services or teams.”
- Product or project: “Read this project poster or spec: [link]. Summarize the goals, scope, and success metrics. Then list any unresolved decisions or risks to the timeline.”
- Cross-functional teams (Marketing/People/Ops): “Read this technical page: [link]. Explain what it means for my team in plain language. Tell me what changes for our customers or employees and anything we need to act on.”
đź’¬ How to participate
- Run your digest: Pick a page you’ve been meaning to read, or one that’s been confusing you. Run the prompt above, or a role-based variation, in Rovo and compare the summary with what you already knew.
- Share your takeaways: Let us know below what you found.
- How much time do you think this saved you?
- What was the most useful jargon Rovo explained?
- What prompt tweaks did you make for your domain or role?
- Any prompt fails? Tell us what didn’t work at first and how you fixed it.
