I haven't been using bitbucket.org account for a long time. Howto reactivate my account so that I'm able to login to bitbucket.org?
There is nothing to thank you for. We are here to help.
Hello @koppi
Your Bitbucket account was likely marked as dormant due to inactivity.
Atlassian confirms this in their official KB. You'll need Atlassian Support to check and reactivate it.
Can you still log in to your Atlassian account at https://id.atlassian.com ?

Hi @koppi, I'd skip the free-plan support form. It has sent people with this exact problem back to Community.
The contact page is the route that worked in https://community.atlassian.com/forums/discussion/3315317 where support removed the Dormant status and the user could log in again. Open https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/ and pick "Your Account".
In the request, say that Bitbucket login fails with "We couldn't log you in" after a long period of inactivity.
I'm unable to contact support, when I pick "Your Account", there is no text field where I would be able to send my request.
Arek, I can login into id.atlassian.com but logging in into bitbucket.org fails.
On the Purchasing & Licensing support form, there's another step after selecting Your Account.
Select Log-in issues, then click Need more help? (twice if needed). Skip the URL/SEN field. When Your question appears, submit your request. Atlassian must verify whether your Bitbucket account is dormant and reactivate it.
Ah, now I get it - that was complicated, but I finally managed to send the message to Atlassian support. Thanks for the hint.
