Change administrator of spaces

Question

Hi there,

The administrator of our Space was our previous supervisor. However, since he has left the company, the Space currently has no administrator.

We would like to update the administrator and add our new supervisor. Could you please advise how we can proceed?

You will need to contact the local administrators of the Jira system you are using. Here we are a user community, using our own Jira systems. We don't have access to the system you are using.

If you are unsure who to contact you should try contacting the technical support organization within your company.

As @Trudy P Claspill mentioned, the Atlassian Community is made up of users and admins from other organizations, so we don't have access to your Jira instance and can't make administrative changes for you.

Based on the screenshot, it looks like you don't currently have Project Admin or Board Admin permissions, which is why the administrator field cannot be modified. If the previous admin has left the organization, a Jira Site Administrator can assign a new project administrator and update the board administration settings on your behalf.

I'd recommend reaching out to your internal Jira administration team to have your new supervisor added as a Project Admin.
