Team Members unable to view pages much less edit

Question

I'm not a system admin; just responsible for my Team's Confluence pages. I have several users on my Team who should be able to Edit our pages. However, 1 cannot see the pages at all, 1 can see the pages but cannot Edit, and 1 that can see only half the number of pages. The other 6 members of the Team have no problems at all with seeing and editing the same pages.

All members of the Team have been granted Edit rights to the individual pages and even specifically shared the page with them but nothing is working.

I am open to any and all suggestions to sort out this issue.

Just to add to the suggestions already shared, if your organization uses Confluence Premium or Enterprise, you can use the Inspect permissions feature to identify exactly why a particular user cannot view or edit a page.

Also, Atlassian recently introduced managing Confluence permissions through Atlassian teams, which might be useful if your administrator enables it. (quite cool thing, I'd say)

That patchwork pattern is exactly what I saw when this happened on our space, and for us it turned out to be page-level restrictions rather than space permissions. A page with viewing restricted to specific people simply does not show up at all for anyone else, and a view-only restriction gives you the can-see-but-cannot-edit case. Sharing the page with someone does not override a restriction that is already on it. I would open one of the invisible pages, check the lock icon in the toolbar, and look at who is actually on the viewing list.

Assuming you mean Atlassian Team and not metaphorically a "team" in your department.

An Atlassian "Team" is not a "Group" in Confluence terms (at least by default).

This also presumes everyone's in the same "team" (or group)

You'll need to contact your Confluence App Admin and/or Org Administrator to do a dive into permissions to see what's causing the problem.

An easy solution is to bind the "Team" to a Group - but this makes the group Org Admin (Atlassian or IDP) managed from on wards - but everyone gets the same permission setup.

Once you've sorted that - it will come down to the Space level permissions - either by adding the group or users in question.

There's also page restrictions to consider that may or may not be in-effect.

As well as user level set permission flags.

In any case - you will need a Org Administrator with Confluence App Admin level access to troubleshoot and decide on best course of action.
