One thing I genuinely preferred about the old Community was that accepting an answer felt like recognizing someone who actually helped solve a problem.
With the new Q&A experience, I'm seeing answers marked as accepted even when they contain nothing more than a screenshot or a short comment that doesn't explain what actually solved the issue.
This might be accidental, but it makes accepted answers less useful for people who find these discussions later.
A few ideas:
Make accepting a solution a more deliberate action, separate from simply finding a reply helpful.
When someone accepts their own answer, encourage them to explain what solved the problem. Self-solved questions should absolutely remain possible.
Bring accepted answers back into a prominent position within the discussion, rather than hiding them in a separate tab.
Provide a way to flag misleading accepted answers for review without automatically treating them as misconduct.
And perhaps most importantly, keep meaningful recognition for the people who spend their time helping others.
For me, an accepted answer should mean "This solved the problem," not simply "I clicked Yes."
