Cannot log in to bitbucket

Question

I cannot log in to bitbucket and end up on a Cannot Log You In page with this message:

"You may run into this issue when you use specific browsers or add-ons that hide the referer header for id.atlassian.com and other Atlassian sites. Check for these and then try logging in again."

I have tried the solutions here:

Including:

* Multiple browsers

* Incognito/private mode

None of that works.

Oh, then forget it and create a new account.

Sorry, I want to be crystal clear. After this time, it was definitely purged.🫣🧙‍♂️

Your Bitbucket account might have been marked as dormant due to inactivity.

Atlassian confirms this possibility in the KB you linked. We've seen several similar cases in which Atlassian Support reactivated the account.

Only Atlassian can verify and restore the account's status.

Have you logged in to Bitbucket recently, or has the account been unused for some time?
