What's new
- Record for agent: A new way to record in Loom. Talk through a task on screen, and Loom packages your narration, clicked elements, visited links, and keyframes into high-fidelity prompts for any agent.
- New Loom for Mac: The rebuilt app records in 4K by default and comes with the Record for Agent Selection tool and Magic pen, so you can point agents to exactly what you mean.
- Loom in Atlassian MCP: Bring the full context of your Loom library into your favorite Al tools with Atlassian MCP. Agents can now read transcripts, add comments, organize recordings, and turn videos into next steps, all within your existing permissions.
- Rovo in Loom (rolling out): Find the right moment in any video, and put your video library to work with Rovo. Each answer is grounded in the recording and exact timestamp, so you can get the key highlights without rewatching the full recording, or leaving Loom.
Record for agent is in open beta for Loom Business + AI and Enterprise plans on both the new Loom for Mac and the Loom Chrome extension. To let agents work with Loom from any tool, connect Loom tools in Atlassian MCP.
