Jira Mobile App All Work List View Configuration

Is it possible to configure the fields you want displayed under the list view when All Work is selected in the Jira Mobile App? We have a few agents that triage dozens of work items and it would be helpful to change the view to include the Reporter field if possible while they are on the go.

I couldn't find a documented way to pick which fields show in that list on the mobile app. There are two open suggestions you can vote on: JSDCLOUD-17503 about customising the columns in filters in the app (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-17503) and JRACLOUD-93588 (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-93588), which is about iOS not showing the extra filter columns.

The thing I'd check is a saved filter. Add the Reporter column to the filter on the web, save it and share it with the agents. They can star it so it shows under their starred filters in the app. According to JRACLOUD-93588, Android shows the extra columns while iOS sticks to key, priority, status and assignee. I haven't checked Reporter specifically.

The app's quick filters can also narrow the list by reporter, which might be enough for triage: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-ios/docs/search-for-issues/

😯 Interesting — I've never actually taken a deeper look there as I use the app only from time to time to change a status or two.

I don't think adding a field through the web (on the filter) will actually resolve this, so I'd recommend voting on those two tickets Mihail linked 🎟️ Not sure when they'll implement it, but I can see having this customization available would be useful in cases like yours @ciriloh

I'm assuming it's the same issue in this instance but I'll mention it just in case.

I've also noticed this under the queues in my Service Desk space that I have starred. The All Work list shows more detail though. On my filtered queue that shows all my work items in progress, all I can see is the request type icon, summary, key, that it's assigned to me, status, SLA time and if updates are pending. It's quite a bit of information except for showing me who submitted the ticket.

Fair point, @Tomislav Tobijas. That tip rests only on JRACLOUD-93588, a report that Android shows a saved filter's extra column while iOS doesn't. I haven't checked it on a device.

@ciriloh, treat it as something to try rather than a fix. Voting on the two tickets is the real route for now.

Exactly, it's just a limitation of the app as it currently is designed. I've upvoted both tickets, hopefully they gain some traction.

As far as I know, the Jira Cloud mobile app doesn't let you choose which fields show in the All Work list. I haven't found a setting or admin option to add Reporter to that view.

Workarounds:

Open the work item: Reporter shows in the details, based on the project's layout (Configure the work item details | Jira Cloud | Atlassian Support).
Use saved filters: Create and favorite filters like reporter = <user> so agents can triage by reporter in the app.
Use a mobile browser: The web list view supports column changes. It's more awkward on a phone, though.
