Hello Atlassian Support,
I'm writing on behalf of CHORRUS GAMES S.L. (Spain). I am not the account holder. About two years ago we bought the source code of several games from a developer. The developer kept these games in a Bitbucket Cloud workspace that belongs to their Atlassian account, the original owner's Atlassian account, and gave us access to the repositories.
The repositories use Git LFS. When we cloned them, the LFS objects did not download, so we are missing most of the game assets. The seller now tells us they no longer have access to that Atlassian account. We suspect the free workspace may have been deactivated during the cleanup of inactive free workspaces, which started on 15 January 2026, with deletion after 15 May 2026.
At the moment we don't have the exact workspace name or repository names. We are working on getting them and will send them as soon as we can.
Could you please:
1. Confirm whether the workspace linked to the original owner's Atlassian account and its repositories, including Git LFS storage, still exist, or whether they have been deactivated or deleted.
2. If they still exist, keep them (and the LFS data) from being deleted while this is resolved.
3. Explain how the account holder can recover access to their account, or how they can give us access to the repositories and LFS files.
The account holder can confirm all of this in writing, and we can provide proof of purchase. We understand that you may only be able to share account details with the holder directly, and we are happy to follow whatever process you require.
Thank you,
Chorrus Games (CHORRUS GAMES S.L.)
