Hey Atlassian Community! 👋
Jira Cloud migration is more than just moving data; it’s about planning, testing, and ensuring a smooth transition. I used Remix with Rovo to turn my Jira Cloud Migration Handbook in Confluence into a visual roadmap that makes the entire journey easier to understand. 🚀
🖼️ From a Detailed Handbook to a Visual Roadmap
Before — The Original Confluence Page
The original page covers all key migration activities and deliverables, but navigating through multiple sections can take time. I wanted to make the entire process easier to understand at a glance.
After — My Remix with Rovo Creation
Using Remix with Rovo → Infographic → Sketch Style, I transformed the handbook into a visual roadmap that brings the key migration phases together in one view.
🧭 What Does the Roadmap Cover?
The infographic brings the entire Jira Cloud migration journey into one view, covering:
- Discovery & Planning: Assess requirements and prepare the migration strategy.
- Configuration & Migration: Set up Jira Cloud and migrate data.
- Testing & UAT: Validate data, workflows, and permissions.
- Cutover & Go-Live: Ensure a smooth production transition.
- Post-Migration Support: Resolve issues, support users, and stabilize the environment.
One visual to understand the journey from discovery to go-live and beyond! 🚀
💡 Why This Remix Matters
I wanted to make the migration process easier to understand at a glance. The visual roadmap brings all the key phases together, helping teams see the bigger picture without going through the entire document.
It's exciting to see how Remix with Rovo can turn existing Confluence content into something more visual, engaging, and useful in real-world scenarios. 🚀
🎃 My Takeaway
A well-structured handbook helps us understand the details. A visual roadmap helps us see the journey.
Exploring Remix with Rovo gave me a new perspective on how we can make technical documentation easier to consume and more useful in day-to-day collaboration.
Looking forward to experimenting with more Rovo formats and discovering new ways to bring our Confluence content to life! ✨
